So I suggest what I wrote in Edit 3]Įdited by totya4, 01 February 2021 - 08:45 PM.
This is slighly uncomfortable way with the Vortex mod manager. Shorty: mod install to mod folder in this game not enough, need enable mods one by one inside the game, right to the savegame. The checkbox was invisible for me, because very dark. I noticed, mod folder works in the Epic versions too, but need enable mods right to the savegame. Darkest Dungeon is one of the best roguelikes in recent years, so it's not surprising that its modding community is full of so many creative people. Vortex use traditionally game directory override way (like as Epic version of game)] Vortex use mods folder (I think steam version use it)Ģ. Perhaps can I choose in Vortex between two operations of this game:ġ. If I copy/override the (corrected) mod file manually, the mod works.
Mod install need similar way like as Fallout 4 (override file in the game directory). Seems to me 'mods' folder doesn't work in the Epic version. This is a very simple mod, this modify one file in a directory. And, inside the vortex, I see 'beta, please provide feedbak' text. 'Google my friend', so I found similar problems on the vortex github page. Vortex works perfectly for me with Fallout 4 with many mods, but I downloaded one mod to the Darkest Dungeon (Official Epic version, without any dlc), and seems to me doesn't work, because the original file doesn't change after mod avtivated.
